After School Cricket ClubsWe run after school cricket clubs at a variety of primary schools around Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire. The clubs are an excellent way for schools to offer cricket to pupils, as clubs are staffed, administrated and managed by the TFCC team, whilst remaining exclusive to the pupils at the host school.

Chance to Shine is a national charity that aims to give all children the opportunity to play, learn and develop through cricket.
Chance to Shine works in schools to provide children with a brilliant first experience of cricket and here at TFCC we are privilege to be a part of this and aid in the delivery. Chance to Shine work with the 39 County Cricket Boards across England and Wales and Cricket Scotland to send specialist coaches (like ourselves at TFCC) into schools, once a week for six weeks, to support cricket coaching. As well as the physical benefits of regular activity, we use cricket to teach children important key life skills that will help them beyond the playground. Through the values of cricket, we teach children about respect and fair play. Cricket is also an effective way to develop skills like communication, leadership and perseverance that will benefit them throughout their life. |
